What to Expect in a Let's Play Music Preview Class

lpm_logo.gifLet's Play Music is a total musicianship program for children who begin at age 4, 5 or 6. The preview class is a shortened class that will demonstrate how the class is typically run. As a parent, you will learn firsthand the methods that we use to teach music in a fun way.

We will sit on the floor and move up and down during class, so please dress accordingly. If sitting on the floor is a problem, I have stools available so you can still participate comfortably. After the shortened class, I'll have the children doing something separately from the adults (coloring/playing with blocks) while I talk to the adults. I'll help you appreciate why we do classes the way we do. This is a 3 year program and I want to be sure you understand what is expected of you before you make the commitment. I will be able to answer questions during this time.

Please do not bring toys or food to class, as those are major distractions for the other children. Please be on time so we will have time for questions at the end. Adults should plan to participate with their child(ren). The more you participate, the more your child will! Children learn best when they feel loved. By engaging in the activities with your child, it shows that they are important to you.

If you don't have a chance to chat with me afterwards, or if you think of something you hadn't while you were in class, please feel free to text, email, or call with any questions. By attending a preview class, you will have the opportunity to waive the registration fee!*

Let's Play Music is the premier program for developing the total musician starting between the ages of 4-6 years.

*If you register for Let's Play Music within 48 hours of attending a preview class, you won't have to pay the $20 registration fee!
